Members of the School Council attend regular meetings to discuss ideas, decide on the most effective ways to change and improve the school and then talk to the people who can help to make it happen.
We regularly share news and information about school achievements, nominate a chosen charity and plan fundraising events. The children are voted on by their peers after delivering a manifesto to their class.
The school council have a very important role of being the children’s voice.
On Thursday 16th March, the School Council Members were invited to visit Bracknell Forest Council. During this visit they shared their agenda, chaired their own meeting, met with the Mayor, and also viewed the current regeneration building project in Bracknell town centre.
It was a fun and informative visit. The children asked some really well thought-out questions to the Mayor, during Q&A time.
